Engineering in Life Sciences (ELS) is an international source on bioengineering principles and innovations in life sciences and biotechnology, spanning biochemical engineering, process engineering, industrial chemistry. As a fully open access journal, we aim to promote global relationships among biologists, biotechnologists and bioengineers. We believe that, for the field to advance, collaboration is key.
The journal covers bioprocesses, metabolic and biosystems engineering, biosynthesis, biotransformation, cell-based treatments and bio-based solutions. We publish research, reviews, technical reports and short communications.
